CYNT Presents Lauren Lo Sung

On December 5th CYNT are very pleased to present Lauren Lo Sung. Lauren is known for her dub techno sound entwined with; grooves, breaks and impeccable basslines, influenced by the intricacies of Chicago & Detroit house. The warm textures and ascribed complex layers of sound still keep true to her roots with that UK underground feel.

Lauren's career is fueled by the success of her established club night LOLiFE which launched in 2009 and has so far bee n held at various underground venues across Manchester and Liverpool. It has showcased a number of cutting edge artists including Jordan Peak, Samu.l and No Artificial Colours amongst others and in 2012 LOLiFE was selected as an official partner of Manchester's finest 'The Warehouse Project'.

Throughout her short career Lauren has shown true determination alongside her natural flair, which simultaneously has led to a number of her productions being released on labels such as Deep Tech Records, DRAFT and Pole Position Records. Her solid basslines with smooth harmonic turns have grabbed the attention of many high profile DJs such as: Sidney Charles, Dusky, HimSelfHer, Hector (Desolat) and Samu.l amongst others.

Lauren has had talents take her to play at events such as: Parklife, WHP, Love System Festival in Croatia, Electric Days in Dubai and many more.

Her impressive DJ performances have secured her residencies with EGG London, TRMNL in Birmingham, WAXXX in Liverpool and her own live radio show on EGG Radio, named 'The LOLife Show'.

Turning eight years old this February, CYNT has been Cardiff's staple electronic dance night attracting the biggest names in Deep, Tech and Bass. This year CYNT moves to take up its new Friday night residency at Cardiff's new basement nightclub, Ladybird. Completely underground with original brickwork features and state of the art sound system provides the perfect intimate setting for the most credible DJs around. At CYNT we pride ourselves on having the best quality resident DJs in South Wales. From disco to bass to techno they specialize in the best house and dance music from the last thirty years.
