ROSETTA FIRE
Rosetta
Fire signed to Jamin Records in 2018 and consist of Ant Gliddon
(vocals), Jimmy Lapworth (guitar, vocals), Emily Knight (bass), Matt
Ball (keys/guitar) and Andy Wheeler (drums).
Their blend of tight
harmonies, strong melodies and memorable lyrics with an added pinch of
optimism are trademark Rosetta Fire, with each new song showing a flash
of creative brilliance from a band with an unorthodox sound.
The
band continue to receive airplay and endorsement from BBC Introducing in
Coventry & Warwickshire, having been BBC Introducing ‘Band of the
Month’ for the region and playing the BBC Introducing stage at Wychwood
Festival in Cheltenham. In fact, their first single release on Jamin
Records - 'Last Road to Rome' - was made 'Tune of the Week' recently and
is available on all digital platforms.
Rosetta Fire will
continue to showcase their unique brand of pop melodies, jazz inspired
hooks, funk rhythms and folk rock vibes in venues around the UK in 2018,
playing newly composed material in their live shows and honing their
signature sound.
CHASING DEER
Chasing Deer are creating a real
buzz with their catchy and upbeat pop songs, through writing,
performing and living as a full-time band in London.
900+ live
performances over the past three years have taken Chasing Deer across
the UK and Europe, as well as Africa, playing supporting festival slots
for UB40, The Pigeon Detectives and Feeder. They document their career
in the weekly YouTube video series 'Deer Diaries'.
This year
Chasing Deer have received invitations to perform at The Royal Albert
Hall, The Houses Of Parliament, Trafalgar Square for Pride In London and
The Kenyan International Music Festival by President Uhuru Kenyatta.
Releasing
a new single every month of 2018, the band's artwork features a variety
of hands using British Sign Language to portray each song title.
Through their project, the band hope to raise awareness of BSL, advised
by the British Deaf Association.
Chasing Deer will launch their
debut album 'Hands On' at London's Bush Hall on November 22nd, in a
fully accessible show, supported by Albert Man and Lucy May Walker, with
British Sign Language interpreted performances.
'Hands On' will be released on Vinyl, CD and streaming on November 30th.
