Triggered Velocity hit the stage at Voodoo Daddy's Showroom to launch their self-titled debut album — and they’re not turning the volume down for anyone.
Formed in Norfolk and built on years of graft across the local circuit, the five-piece carved their reputation the hard way: small stages, packed rooms, and live shows that leave nothing behind. No hype, no shortcuts — just raw energy and songs that land hard. After taking the win at The Brickmakers Battle of the Bands in 2024, the band doubled down and channelled that momentum straight into their first full-length record.
Their sound pulls from ’90s alternative and grunge but hits with modern weight — crushing riffs, pounding drums, and vocals that feel like they’re tearing through the speakers. Heavy, honest, and made for the floor, not the background.
This isn’t a sit-back-and-watch kind of night. It’s loud, sweaty, and up close.
Show up early. Stand close. Feel every note.
We're Crowned Hyenas, an electrifying alt-rock band pouring our hearts into every performance. Hailing from Norwich, UK, we formed in 2021 with a shared passion for blending gritty riffs with introspective lyrics, inspired by the chaos of modern life. With Matt Argyle driving our sound on lead vocals and bass, Lee Thacker slicing through with lead guitar and harmonies, and Alex Jackson pounding out a powerful rhythm on drums and backing vocals, we're a force to be reckoned with.
2025 was a wild ride – we unleashed our debut EP 'Misery Loves Company' and played our hearts out across the UK, taking the stage at festivals and shows to spread our sound and growing fan base.
Looking ahead to 2026, we're stoked to have a packed diary of our own shows, self-producing new music, and – thanks to our win at an East Anglian Battle of the Bands – even more festival slots to share our energy with the world.
“With frets to light up the night, these guys are the heavy rock equivalent of a bar fight, just dive in and ask questions later.” - OriginalRock.net
Black River Renegade are a high-energy four-piece from Norwich, mixing bluesy swagger with big riffs and catchy hooks. Formed in 2023, the band is built around brothers Leo and Adam White, with longtime friends Sam Harris and Gareth Sears completing the line-up. Their sound blends classic blues-rock grit with a modern edge, delivered through loud, tight and explosive live shows.
The Jess Davey Band are three 21-year-olds who first met in school music class and have been playing together in various ways ever since. The once solo acoustic artist “Jess Davey”, whose passion was always something heavier, now delivers grungy rock interwoven with poetic lyricism with her band, once described as “soulful, earnest and spectacular.” With melodic, emotive vocals paired with distorted power chords and hard-hitting drum fills, they draw influence from artists such as The Cranberries, Paramore and Wolf Alice. They get crowds singing along in their covers of hits such as Linkin Park’s ‘Numb’ and The Cranberries’ ‘Zombie’, and hope to get them singing to their original music too, releasing their first single as a band, ‘Masquerade’, on 1 November 2025. The Jess Davey Band have performed throughout East Anglia in Cambridge, Ipswich and more, and cannot wait for what the future holds.
