Sunderland Spooktacular 2026 – Double Firework Extravaganza!

The North East’s favourite Halloween event is back – and last year it SOLD OUT!

Join us at Barnes Park, Sunderland, on Friday 30th October 2026 for a huge evening of fireworks, flames, live entertainment, Halloween fun and TWO spectacular firework displays – all included with one ticket.

✨ TWO FIREWORK DISPLAYS – ONE TICKET!

✨ Spellbound – 6:00pm

Our earlier lower-noise, family-friendly firework display, designed especially for younger families.

Expect magical colours, music and flames, with reduced noise levels compared with a traditional display.

🔥 Afterglow – 8:00pm

The big one!

A more intense firework spectacular featuring bigger effects, more fireworks, more flames and an unforgettable finale to light up the night sky.

🎤 K-POP DEMON HUNTERS ARE BACK!

After proving hugely popular last year, the K-Pop Demon Hunters return for 2026 – with more characters, more performances and even more entertainment throughout the evening.

Expect a bigger presence across the event, with plenty of opportunities to see your favourite characters and enjoy the music, performances and atmosphere.

EVEN MORE HALLOWEEN ENTERTAINMENT

🔥 Flame Shows with BOTH Firework Displays – more fire, more heat, more spectacle!

🎶 Live Music & Stage Entertainment – performances throughout the evening.

🤹 Walkabout Characters & Performers – spooky surprises around the event.

🎠 Funfair Rides – Halloween fun for all ages.

🍔 Street Food & Treats – a wide selection of hot food and refreshments.

WHY YOU CAN’T MISS IT

Last year, Sunderland Spooktacular introduced its double-firework format – and the event sold out.

Two firework displays. One ticket. One huge Halloween night.

Our firework displays are delivered by the award-winning Reaction Fireworks team, responsible for major displays across the region and the spectacular weekly firework shows at Kynren.
