ELEANOR ADAMS
Trained in a church choir from the age of 9, Eleanor Adams first picked up a guitar at 18, after hearing Joni Mitchell’s Blue. Mitchell’s open tunings and custom chord shapes inspire Eleanor’s own guitar playing, which is largely self-taught. A very internal thinker, her lyrics question the world she sees around her and the people she meets, expressing sentiments which may not otherwise be shared.
CATH STEPHENS AND PAUL GRAINGERath and Paul combine double bass and vocals to weave a unique tapestry of jazz, folk and original songs telling some of their favourite stories. This new project focusses on a sparse, stripped back approach to arrangements and the duo have a keen interest in storytelling through a feminist lens. This set will feature a special guest performance from the delightful Anna Heslop.

Ash Dickinson is a multiple slam champion, including Edinburgh, Cheltenham, the Museum of Scotland and BBC Radio. He has performed in Australia, Canada, USA, New Zealand, Denmark, The Netherlands, the Czech Republic and Germany, and headlined countless shows and festivals throughout the UK. His debut collection, ‘Slinky Espadrilles’, was the very first title published by Burning Eye Books. His second major collection, ‘Strange Keys’, also released by Burning Eye, came out in 2016.
