Jordan Peak & Jansons | Manchester

Jordan Peak and Jansons land at Joshua Brooks on Friday 19 December for a double header built on credible house and techno foundations.

Peak arrives following a strong run of releases, including his Defected Records single Front 2 Back, which topped Beatport’s House chart. With a 14-year career spanning Bass Culture, Robsoul, Tsuba and Trick, his catalogue has earned support from DJ Sneak, Paul Woolford, Mike Huckaby, Archie Hamilton and Peggy Gou. His return to the circuit has marked one of the most consistent periods of his career.

Jansons continues to shape the modern house landscape through key releases on Circus Recordings, Hot Creations, Knee Deep In Sound and Four Thirty Two. His earlier breakthrough Switch became one of 2019’s standout tracks on Circus Recordings, and his CircoLoco Records release with Skream was selected as BBC Radio 1’s Hottest Record. As one half of LoveHrtz alongside Richy Ahmed, he’s secured repeated Beatport Top 10 positions and widespread support from The Martinez Brothers, Jamie Jones and Hot Since 82.

Both artists have built reputations through appearances at fabric London, Watergate Berlin, Hideout Festival, BPM Portugal, Tresor, Rex Club Paris and Space Ibiza — a resume that mirrors the underground ethos of the Joshua Brooks basement.

Powered by the Void Acoustics system, this session brings two operators at the top of their game into one of Manchester’s most intimate club spaces.
