MDRN Unplugged 

A new monthly acoustic showcase event curated to showcase some extremely talented upcoming music and visual artists from London. We set the scene at the S`&P Gallery, Gloucester Road, a new gallery dedicated to exhibiting art by some of the world's most exciting modern artists. 

This event will a great opportunity for you to hear  some extremely talented musicians, see some great contemporary art and network in a room full of like minded individuals.

BYOB

You are welcome to bring your own alcohol. We will be charging a one time £5 charge on the door for this service. As the venue has a no glass policy: we will have a raffle ticket system in place; you will be given a raffle ticket and cup, we will store the drinks for you, you can fill up your drinks at any time when requested :)

A collective of urban artists from London, UK. A set you do not want to miss with a collection of rap, r&b and soul artists by playing a one off acoustic style set! 

Charlotte Plank- 

Charlotte is a 21 year old eclectic singer, songwriter, producer, artist- who brings ethereal, soulful tones in her songs formed via her inspirations ranging from sound, RnB, indie and alternative music.

“I create and write music influenced by my eclectic taste from Nirvana/Amy Winehouse/Norah Jones/Fleetwood Mac/Brent Faiyaz/Lauryn Hill/Joy Division/Disclosure/The Smiths/The 1975/Snoh Aallegra I could go on and on- I’d call my sound a Neo-soul/electronic/jazz/Indie RnB fusion”

“A unique rich soulful tone, amazing voice, her music is the golddust and speaks for itself”- (presenter on Reprezent 2020)

She is also working on her debut EP which will be out early next year, a wealth of unreleased music will be previewed at her upcoming shows.

LEIA JULES- 

Leia Jules is a franco-british independent singer based in London. Sad automn girl since birth, she has a unique way of blending vulnerability with soft and calm vocals. She does write sick bops though, songs that mix her native language with ironical lyrics and salty hooks, which landed her on multiple Spotify editorial playlists such as New Music Friday UK or Fresh Finds. Jules’ priority is to touch hearts, share, and explore her hypersensitivity through storytelling.

Edna Louise- 

Edna Louise is a singer songwriter, and guitarist from the French Riviera. Her musical inspirations take their roots from the Neo-Soul Music mixed with Jazz, Funk and Disco, distilled in the Pop Music canvas, to create a unique sound.
She has been gifted with a warm, powerful and smoky voice that captures the heart of anyone who listens. She recently graduated from a BMus in Performance at the Bimm Institute and has performed at some of the most renown venues such as Notting Hill Art Club, the Ned London et Zebrano Bars. She is currently recording her first Ep.
