An evening of wild, badass and UNTAMED burlesque and cabaret!

Untamed Burlesque created in 2016 by Mx Violent May and has since moved to Bath to Chapel Arts Centre. But we are back to do one stunning show featuring some of the most kickass and UNTAMED burlesque performers the South West has to offer. All of this at the rockin Underground in the very heart of Mutley.

For this show we are going retro and going back to the 1970s! So expect acts which reflect on the music, TV shows, movies and politics of the era! It’s gonna be groovy!

HEADLINER: Violent May (they/them)

They’re back to cause terror and chaos on stage! Organiser of Untamed Burlesque this performer prefers the quirkier things of the world and the same goes for when they are on stage. Previous performances include: Sexquisite, Plymouth Queer Pride and Frome Comic Convention.

Suit Kase (she/her)

Suit Kase is a Bristol based burlesque performerand producer whose curves run the show. Her performances often pay homage to popular cultures and musical theatre. Suit Kase can oftenbe found sewing together fun and unusual fabricsto create a style which is both vintage and futuristic. Previous performances include: Rock and Roll Cabaret, Camden Cabaret and Blue Suit Productions.

Lady Shakira Diamond (they/she/he)

Organiser of The Open Cabaret Society LSD is gonna bend your mind whilst they do some gender bending burlesque and performance art! She will be the best trip of your life. Previous performances include: Lady Ink, Chocolate Box and From Comic Con.

Doris Johnson (they/them)

Plymouth’s drag comedienne; DoJo takes your favourite bops and wreaks havoc with them. A firm believer that the nice list is for losers, they enjoy nothing more than indulging in cheekiness and making you all feel merry.Previous appearances include The Barbican Theatre’s ‘Sleighing It’ shows, ‘Kings, Queens and Things of the Night’, and Take It Off burlesque and cabaret.

Cherry Fury (she/they)

Sometimes sweet, Sometimes sour, always leaves a good taste. Previous performances include: Take It Off Burlesque and Cabaret and Filth Open Mic.

Fantastic Ms Fanny (She/her)

She’s been a kickass compere for Untamed since the beginning and she’s gonna bring a few surprises on stage for Plymouth! We can’t wait to have her return to the stage! She’s well and truly fantastic! Previous perofmrnaces include: Take It Off Burlesque and Cabaret, World Burlesque Games and Bristol Burlesque Festival.
