Jelly Jazz is back at Cosmic Kitchen for another blistering funked up session in this, the clubs 30th anniversary year!
Joining founder and resident DJ Pete Isaac is special guest Boca 45. The Bristolian legend, prolific recording artist, Banksy's DJ of choice and block rocking turntablist has been a fixture in clubs and festivals across the UK for 20+ years. A globe trotting DJ too with countless sets across Europe, tours of Australia and guest spots from Dublin to Dubai. There's a reason for that, and that is the straight-up fact then when Boca lets loose of the decks, sparks are gonna fly.
His latest artist album 'Forty Five' was signed to famed US label Mass Appeal, but since then he has recorded a library album for the legendary label Cavendish, made a KICK-ASS 45 with Bam from The Jungle Brothers, compiled 'Funk n' Beats 10' for Bombstrikes, done recent guest mixes for Craig Charles and Huey Morgan on 6music! Scott does not sit still for long, his musical output is testament to that, and we shall look forward to a rip-roaring session at Cosmic Kitchen.
Warming up the proceedings is Jelly head honcho Pete Isaac, serving up the Jelly beats.
Get your tickets pronto, all sessions so far at Cosmic have sold out in advance.
