In 2014 Iain and Ben met at a gig in Exeter. They bonded through a love of 808 drum beats, Detroit vibes and raw ghetto s**t.

They started messing around with tracks and experimenting on what they could achieve with a full Traktor set up and some CDJ's. The result was the much acclaimed 6 deck DJ mix "GhettoTronic" and a subsequent series of bootlegs.

The Airtight Deejays definitely are not taking themselves too seriously, it's about having a good time playing the music they love without walls or prejudice. With each set they aim to create an completely unique experience for the listener. Layering tracks, creating re edits on the fly, dropping samples, scratching and cutting in between genre's and tempo's with seamless ease.

They're white, middle class and ghetto as hell!!

We've slowly started to put the word out and started to book in some tour dates, the first of which is in one of our favourite cities of Preston. We've been friends with the living legends that are Dave O'Neill from "Bang On" Parties and DJ Clumsy from Madhatters for a while now and we are also excited to be working with the BASS Klinic boys for the first time as well.

All in all people it's gonna make for one f**king sick night of heavy heavy bass!
