Have you always wanted to draw the moments you see on the street or your favourite building that you pass each day? Then this FREE workshop delivered in partnership with Manchester Histories, could be the one for you.
Urban sketching is the name such drawing has been given and this workshop with artist Liz Ackerley will involve discussion about all aspects of urban sketching from what it is to the materials to use and examples of sketches created. You will then go out and about to try some sketching yourself, using your surroundings as inspiration.
This session is for people of all backgrounds and experiences so why not come along and have a go? Please feel free to bring along drawing materials including a sketchbook and pencils (including coloured pencils) and pens (eg fine liners, birds) and watercolour paints/brushes.
