EDEN'S DAUGHTER is a hard-rock band, based in Cumbria, and led by Carlisle-born guitarist Andrew 'Spud' Sinclair who, as far back as the late 80s, was referred to by the press as one of the finest guitarists in the UK. Spud first put this band together back in the late 90s alongside drummer Ian Sargison. However, with the recent addition of local legend Mandi Leonard on vocals, things just got really serious! A vocalist of tremendous power and yet possessing a quality of tone rarely heard in this genre, Mandi takes this band to another level. The line-up is completed by West Cumbrian Hammond organ maestro Steve McGuckin, and with decades of experience between them all, this band has finally made a debut album... and it ROCKS! Control Freak was recorded in London, and mixed in Las Vegas, and no corners have been cut in bringing this album to a reality. 12 songs fill this disc, and you will hear most of them in the live set, alongside a handful of classic covers. The CD album, complete with a fabulously lavish 32 page booklet, will be released and available to buy on the night at a heavily discounted price. Although this January show in the Brickyard is the launch night for Control Freak, it also gives you the chance to witness this sensational band playing live in its home town.
