Girls Get Festive

On Sunday 17th December, Girls Get Social are putting on the most festive social event for all the girls across the West Midland to celebrate the holidays! Join us at the finest, cosiest location in the heart of Birmingham for a jam-packed day of good food, festive games and dancing whilst socialising with like-minded, local girlies. 

For all those who are looking to make some festive memories & friends for life, this one's for you. It is guaranteed to be the most wonderful time of the year!

What will happen at the event?

• Before the event, The GGS team will create a WhatsApp group for the attendees so you can put faces to who's attending, arrange meetup points & just to say hi before the big day! Please include your mobile number when you buy a ticket to ensure that you will be added.
• 12pm - Doors open. When your ticket is scanned at the door, the GGS team will be there to greet you! 
• Feel free to chat, mix and mingle, drink, dance, and make some friends! There will also be games throughout with a chance to win some amazing prizes!
• 4pm - The party's over, time to part ways! Head home safely or feel free to take the party elsewhere. As we are in the heart of Birmingham, there are plenty of bars nearby if you want to carry on the fun with the friends that you have made 🙂

Ticket Information

• Tickets are non-refundable. However, if your plans change and you can't make it, let us know at girlsgetsocial@gmail.com and we can organise an exchange.
• Early bird tickets are £12 until 1st December where we will then switch to the second release price of £15. Your ticket will give you access to the buffet table, including a wide range of savoury treats (veggie & gluten-free options included). There will also be a bar onsite where you can buy alcoholic & non-alcoholic beverages (separate to the ticket price).

Travel

Please note: for your safety, the location address & details will be kept private and revealed upon purchase & on our private Facebook group.

For solo-goers or nervous attendees, we will be setting up a meet-up point at Birmingham New Street. We will let you know a few days before the event the exact details on where to meet up & who will be meeting you (with pictures so you can put a face to a name!)

Tram - The Grand Central tram stop is a quick 4-minute walk from our location

Car - Our nearest car parks are: Birmingham New Street Station Car Park, Ellis Street Car Park, Gallan Parking & Q Park Mailbox

Bus - Our location is close to a bus stop at Station Street (outside New Street) where many buses stop by

Train - Birmingham New Street station is a quick 3-minute walk from our location

Dress code

All things that scream "Christmas"! Be imaginative: think sparkles and sequins, red/green outfits, Christmas jumpers, Santa/the Grinch costumes...

Friendly reminders

• All Girls Get Social events are open to 18+ only, please ensure you bring ID for proof of age at entry and at the bar.
• Please note that there will be some photography at the event - we'll be passing around some Polaroid cameras and some pictures will be taken by our photographer or on the GGS team's phones. Please drop us an email or DM if you'd prefer for your picture not to be taken!
• We request that this social event is full of positive vibes and that guests refrain from acting negatively towards others. If there are grievances that need addressing or arguments to be had we require them to be discussed outside the event. If conflict does arise at our event (which is very unlikely) we will kindly ask you to leave and tickets cannot be refunded.
