For those that aren’t familiar, Beautiful Swimmers is the sensual pairing of Maxmillion Dunbar, co-founder of the always excellent Future Times label, and Ari Goldman. Their sound pays homage to the scenes’ roots while offering a unique interpretation to the modern dance floor. The pair have been working the decks and studio together for going on 7 years. Several EPs, a collaborative album and many a gig have seen them build an ever increasing reputation for delivering the good stuff, with the guys and girls at Fact Mag stating...

The Swimmers best encapsulate all that is fab about Future Times, a label that has seen releases from Huerco S, Project U and Hashman Deejay and House of Doors. Future Times has held a beacon for inspired, experimental dance music in recent years, standing alongside L.I.E.S. and Mood Hut as one of the US’s best for delivering fresh interpretations of the music that forms the foundations of our scene.

Expect dreamy disco, quality US house, with nods to funk, punk, boogie, dub and reggae, plus bits new wave, techno and aquatic jams of all peculiarities.
