An eclectic fusion of the UK’s finest comedy club comedians and a venue that has seen an epic 21st Century reimagination, Comedy – Live at The Garage is the rapidly becoming the sell-out show you need to see.

Funhouse Comedy is back at The Garage, Chilwell (Barton’s) Nottingham on Friday February 16th for more fun and laughter.

Topping the bill is the hilarious Jonny Awsum, who appeared on ITV’s Britain’s Got Talent 2017 and cajoled Ant and Dec into joining his audition and has supported Jason Manford on his arena tour. Starting out as barman at The Chuckle Club for eight years he then decided to take to the stage. With his guitar and musical parodies he amuses his audiences charming them with his warm and friendly persona, his style of audience participation is second to none. He has presented for Sky Sports, been warm up act for Big Brother and Loose Women and also starred in several adverts including Cravendale, The Post Office, Experian and even Puntigamer beer in Austria.

Opening the night will be the quirky James Dowdeswell who has appeared on such TV shows as ‘Russell Howard’s Good News’, ‘Celebrity Deal Or No Deal’ and who also played The Count in Ricky Gervais’ ‘Extras’. His intelligent and inventive storytelling is delivered from a slightly strange perspective, which is both entertaining and captivating.

Completing the line-up is Jules O’Brian, shortlisted for Funny Women 2021, she enjoys telling anyone who will listen about ageing disgracefully, body hang-ups, parenting, and dating all done with a twinkle in her eye.

Compere for the night will be the energetic, quick witted and naturally funny Joe Zalias with his amusing personal tales and charming persona.
