We kick off Hope Works presents Winter 2019 season with a HUGE bang!

The return of Midland and Craig Richards but this time with an amazing musical twist.

Midland, what can we say about midland....well, he's been a firm favourite for Hope Works since the doors first opened and we have had the absolute pleasure of him performing multiple times now over the years. He's such a dynamic and brilliant artist with the way he works the floor. As a writer he's made some absolutely huge tracks and he's constantly on the search to become a better dj - something thats absolutely admirable and respect inducing! We welcome back Midland with eager anticipation of a 3 hour closing set for our first show of the year!

Craig Richards is a UK legend, a foundational pillar of UK electronic music. From Fabric to Houghton his work seems to be growing in importance as time goes by and we are SO happy that after his Hope Works debut in 2018 he wanted to come back to us in 2019, but not just him, with the one and only Nicolas Lutz. 

Nicolas Lutz has always operated best on the very outskirts of dance floor culture. A master of mystery and relentless seeker, his knack for unearthing precious gemstones -for immediate exploitation and then, slowly but surely, the greater good of the community- is uncanny, and its this insistence on clearing a path between the unknown and the utterly unexpected that elevate his sets into explorations of faraway lunar landscapes and charters through the depths of murky seas. 

So not only is Craig performing one of his now Legendary B2B sets with the utterly incredible Nicolas Lutz but theres another B2B between Bruce and Lo Shea. 
Hot on the heels of Bruce's debut album on the mighty Hessle Audio, something that is a work of wonder, this is a very special one-off to celebrate his album and a chance for him to have a lot of sonic fun with Lo Shea behind the decks. Bruce is someone we have always loved and seen such huge potential in as an artist. its so good to see this being realised now.

We are also so very excited to announce the Sheffield debut for Deena Abdelwahed. Deena came onto our radar early this year with her live show and also dj set witnessed at Freerotation. We believe she is one of the most exciting new artists out there and want to welcome her with open arms to Hope Works. She is a singular Tunisian artist with an incredible vision and flow. She's just released a brand new album which is a work of art and as a new resident at CONCRETE Paris we are so thrilled to invite her over for our first show of 2019.
