ACIDFEST: London Psych Fest 2025

ACIDFEST is a series of worldwide psych events organized by the Liverpool Psychedelic Society, featuring live music by cutting-edge, far-out artists and trippy visuals. This year, it returns to London's Paper Dress Vintage in Hackney.

The ACIDFDEST events started in 2022 with a series of gigs in Iceland, and continued with all-dayers in Austin, Texas during South By Southwest, Liverpool and London. In 2023 we did ACIDFEST in Bristol, Liverpool and London.

After a gap in 2024 ACIDFEST returns to London's popular Paper Dress Vintage in Hackney, for a psychedelic marathon featuring six far-out acts representing the rich and varied spectrum of what we call psych - minus the bandwagon jumping indie rock crap! This is REAL Psychedelia! Are you ready to take a strange trip to the far-out sounds of:

Thee Lucifer Sams: Liverpool's psych rock mavericks - taking their clue from Syd-era Floyd, Hawkwind and Spacemen 3.

Pete Bassman: one of the original members of Spacemen 3, and the visionary genius in Darkside and Alpha Stone.

Autohaus: the finest psych rockers from Margate, purveyors of hypnotic krautrock vibes.

Madonovan: master of the wall of noise guitar feedback and creator of lost shoegaze gems that are sure to become some of your favourite tunes.

Esa Shields: the most original and enigmatic musician in Liverpool... ever. With unique voice and tunes that come from another dimension.

Dominoes: as the name suggests, another Syd Barrett obsessive, making low-key, slow burn psychedelic songs suitably quirky and original.
