Confident Woman 2025 is a 12-month event series run by London Business Society, the professional body of SMEs shaping the future of business in London. It's exclusively open to female entrepreneurs, CEOs, and professionals (we vet attendees).

Our host and venue:

Set in an elegant Victorian building in the heart of London and surrounded by the beauty and tranquillity of Egerton Gardens, The Franklin hotel combines the warmth of a private home with the impeccable service of a luxury boutique hotel. A neighbour of Harrods and the Victoria & Albert Museum, such a unique hotel represents as well the prime example of Anouska Hempel’s timeless, Italian-influenced design.

Program:

• 6.00-6.30 PM: arrive at the stunning venue, where we welcome you and connect you with other guests. Connect with other attendees (facilitated by our host).
• 6.30-7.00: Opening of the event. Guest lecture by Samantha Harman, The Style Editor on how to own the room, and elevate your style to get noticed and make more money.
• 7.00-7.30: Q&A and workshop to make sure you get things done. Peer learning and support.
• 7.30 until finish: mix and mingle networking with other female founders and professionals. Open bar with delicious drinks.

Guest lecturer: Samantha Harman, The Style Editor

Samantha helps businesses make money, through the power of personal style and magnetic personal brand. She is not a run-of-the-mill stylist who’s going to give you a colour fan and send you on your way. She is a qualified coach with 17 years’ newsroom experience, managing big teams and big budgets. She has appeared in media, spoken on international stages, consulted for government departments, grown an online community of 15,000 and helped 100s of women save time and make money through the power of their wardrobes. She is a style think tank with over 18,000 followers on LinkedIn.

Who are the attendees

This event is exclusively open to female founders, entrepreneurs, professionals.

• Our LBS/Confident Woman2025 members and guests are SME directors from a variety of industries, who have been in business for over a year, have at least one employee, and have current happy clients (we vet attendees).
• We might refuse attendance if you're in a clash with an exclusive partner (in this case we give a full refund. If you'd like to find out in advance, email tk@franciscooper.com
• We strongly discourage hard selling at our events, to other attendees or to the speakers and hosts. This includes asking for contact details of a colleague who you could reach out to, or asking them directly if they need your services.

This event is accredited by OpenCPD

We're committed to continuous professional development, and those directors attending this event will receive a digital certificate with CPD points that they can display on their LinkedIn and use in their personal branding.

How we add even more value?

We create a WhatsApp group with those attendees who wish to start getting to know each other.

Dress code: business casual (no trainers, no jeans)

Refund policy: we refund tickets if we reject an attendee based on our vetting procedure or a clash.

We are unable to refund tickets if the attendee can't make the event, but if you can't come you can give it to someone else, and let us know who is coming.
