Come join us for this, our month trash rock n roll dance party held in the bar of The Hope & Ruin, Brighton, where we continue our STAY SICK residency, revving up for a night of delinquent kicks, DJ's, dancing pand tripped out trashy mondo projections!
A huge thanks everyone who came out to our Christmas special which was indeed very special and emotional as we said happy anniversary and farewell to The Damn Shebang and The Atom Jacks. It was packed all night and was one in, one out for periods so cheers you sickohs!
As we slide into 2026 wondering what the hell it will bring, we’re super excited to announce that for us at STAY SICK HQ it will most definitely include the same high quality of music and bands we’ve brought to 2025 and to kick off the new year we’re over the moon to bring you one of the hottest local bands around!
We’ve been big fans since their birth in 2024 and stoked to finally be bringing them to a STAY SICK stage! So, please give it up for…

https://youtube.com/@francisxpigFrancis Pig is an art punk band that blends alternative/ avant garde sensibilities with driving, anti-passive rock and roll. Since their debut show in 2024,their
urgent, confrontational and erotically charged performances have gained them a growing word of mouth cult following.
Sonically, their songs are built on repetitive rhythms, throbbing basslines, distorted guitars and dynamic vocal delivery. With song titles like ‘Sex Talk’, ‘Erotic
Underground’ and ‘Who’s the
Junkie’, Francis Pig are bringing taboo subjects to the forefront in a non apologetic, authentic and raw form, reviving a defiant spirit of early punk and outsider art.“they play it mean and they play it dirty, but they stay just the right side of going too far, so that it actually is gloriously debauched and sexy” - Brighton Source Review“invoking Patti Smith and Poly Styrene” - Rapture Mag Review“Francis Pig are one of Brighton’s very best live acts at this moment in time…end of! For Fans of Suicide, Velvet Underground, The Jesus & Mary Chain” - Brighton and Hove News Review“minimalist, driving, powerful and sexy …no one else is doing exactly what they are doing” - Colin Newman radio show“rawness , energy and intensity…their sound had echoes of The Velvet Underground, The Stooges and The Cramps” - L.A. Witch Support ReviewWe couldn’t have put it any better ourselves! Band on stage at 10pm.

Come join us for this our monthly trash dance party night held on the downstairs in the bar at The Hope & Ruin, where we continue our monthly STAY SICK residency, revving up for a night of delinquent kicks, DJ's, dancing and tripped out trashy mondo projections!
Expect an aural rock n roll trash journey that includes sleazy, greasy rock n roll from the 50s including Tarantino-esque surf, boppin rockabilly, swingin' rhythm and blues and twistin' shakers, moving on through to 60s primitive garage, snotty 70s punk n roll, 80s new wave and beyond to more modern garagepunk sounds, and anything else that fits in and floats our boat!
This night "goes out to all you Gucci bag carriers out there", to all you delinquent weird-ohs so you can go-go, shake, bop, pogo, mash, shimmy, watusi and freak to! For Lux and The CrAmPs, our glorious leaders
As Wanda once said, "Let's have a party!"
