The Line Of Best Fit proudly presents
Harrison Whitford
plus special guests
Lizzie Reid + Johanna Samuels
Born in Nashville but now residing in Los Angeles, Harrison Whitford quietly released his debut album Afraid Of Everything last year - a short collection of sombre ballads that shuffle through the senses like a late-night lonesome cab ride; filled with regret and longing.
Already unknowingly familiar to many, Whitford’s exquisite guitar parts can be heard all over Phoebe Bridgers’ breakthrough debut album Stranger In The Alps. The pair are longtime collaborators and friends, having played and written together both in the studio and through extensive touring for over six years. Squint your ears and you may well hear Bridgers' vocals over album highlight "Part Time Heart" - a song covered extensively by Phoebe during her early days of touring.
Startlingly honest and packed full of poignant, candid songs that put himself and his frank and dazzling songwriting on full display. Balancing the sombre delivery of Elliot Smith with the pop charm of Paul Westerberg - two songwriters he cites as major influences - Afraid Of Everything is a haunting and evocative piece of work from a young songwriter at the beginning of what promises to be a long and brilliant career.
