GURT is a London-based sludge metal band formed in 2010, known for pioneering a unique, high-energy style called "party doom". Combining heavy sludge, chunky doom, and a punk attitude, they are recognized for humorous, tongue-in-cheek lyrics and intense live performances. They have released multiple albums, including Satan Etc (2024}, and toured with bands like Dopethrone.

Initially finding inspiration in both the soundscape and ethos of Stoner/Doom metal. Sleeping Giant is a melting pot of tight drumming accentuated with a whole lot of grooves, powerful yet brutal vocal performances as well as punctual but catchy riffs, White it might be hard to categorize this unclear concoction of Stoner, Doom, Thrash, and Sludge Metal, the result speaks for itself. A well oiled tour-de-force feast of the finest Metal has to offer coming all the way from Iceland.

Famyne bring an insatiably energetic live performance, with hypnotic waves of crushing riffs and pounding rhythm, smothered in pure dread, and expressed in the distinct inimitable voice of their lead vocalist.
