Cosmic Sessions: DOTFLEX ALL-DAYER w/ Claire (Montreal), Jinal, & more | Shibby's Birthday

All right folks, if you've been on the fence about whether to attend DotFlex then THIS is the time to jump four to the floor and get involved! For this 6th instalment of DotFlex we're over the moon to welcome micro-house/ techno veteran and friend CLAIRE for her UK debut. This will also be my (Shibby's) birthday party.

THE 'PLAN' ⚫️

THE MAGNET and JINAL will both be making their DotFlex debuts - spectacular DJs and dedicated promotors who work tirelessly to energise the Southwest's underground electronic music community. Not to mention the addition of Yiska, deep-cut extraordinar, Realm co-founders Amy and Rupert, and my favourite human-being and third time DotFlex guest, White Lodge.

We'll ease into this 11 hour (!) birthday celebration in the Cosmic Courtyard. Cosmic's kitchen will be open and serving food until 8.30pm so you can pace yourself and soak up the good vibes. 

At 9pm we'll head inside and cut a rug to the acid-laden grooves of Jinal, Claire, Amy & Rupert (Realm), and myself. It's also an honour to have Fountain Andy (Orbital Gathering)/ Forbidden Garden Party) providing his spectacular live visuals for us all.

A captivating artist with a minimalistic style rooted in groove and space, Montreal-based Claire has carved out a niche for herself in the underground as a dj, producer, label owner, and promotor. 

Considered a bit of a 'DJ's DJ', Claire has shared the stage with many notable artists including Magda, Sonja Moonear, Maayan Nidam, Ellen Alien, and Octave One (to name just a few). Her sets are often deep and mysterious, inspired by outer space and the imagining of other worlds. 

Nomadic at heart, she regularly ventures off to Latin America and Europe to cities such as Berlin where she plays Club Der Visionaere and Hoppetosse, Paris for the Techno Parade, or Zurich's Kasheme. Closer to home she is now a resident at Bilykun, having previously held a ten year residency at Laïka, and performing at iconic events such as Mutek and Piknic. 

A bit of a gear junkie, Claire uses a small but mighty arsenal of synthesizers, samplers, sequencers, and drum machines for when she produces and performs live. As well as running her own label, Planète Secrète, she has a a plethora of both digital and vinyl releases on labels such as Conceptual, Monoclap, Archipel and many more.

Cosmic Kitchen is a limited capacity venue and tickets are finite. To guarantee entry after 9pm we recommend purchasing an advance ticket. 

There will be a limited number of CASH-ONLY tickets on the door.

Last entry will be 11.30pm sharp with no exceptions to the rule. Strict 18+ policy, ID required on request. Zero tolerance drug policy, as posted around the site on event nights. If you are caught with/taking/dealing, you will be banned from the premises and both the Police & pub-watch will be informed.
