Friday | Bumper Cars Dating | Palm Court Bar, Brighton Palace Pier

Just a date on a bumper car (?!), everyone's single. Because in 2026, we’re all finally admitting the obvious: the best things don’t happen on apps, they happen in person.

This Friday, we’re taking dating to the bumper cars. 

Chaotic, nostalgic, and nothing like your usual dates... 

You’ll start the night at Palm Court Bar on the Palace Pier (look for the side with the Thursday Banner), where you’ll check in at 7:00pm and find out whether you’re Group 1 or Group 2.

Group 1 will head to the bumper cars at 7:30pm for three-minute speed dates - one new person per ride. Flirt, laugh, crash, switch, repeat.
Group 2 will stay at the bar to mingle and warm up, before heading to the bumper cars at around 8:15pm.

You’ll rotate through bumper car speed dates - three minutes at a time, one new person per ride. 
No awkward silences. No endless swiping. Just real-life chemistry with a side of chaos.

Perfect if you’re:
• sick of dating apps going nowhere
• up for something fun and a little unhinged
• ready to meet someone the old-fashioned way (in person)

Once both groups have had their rides, everyone reunites back at Palm Court Bar to mingle, reconnect, and see who you want to bump into again until 10:00pm. Enjoy £7.50 cocktails exclusive to Thursday guests!

Please let us know if you buy a ticket and can no longer attend so we make sure the gender ratios are even.
