Fighting Colours: 5th Anniversary Celebration + Smoke Filled Room / Claytree / Party In The Valley

Fighting Colours invite you to a celebration of their journey so far, with three incredible support acts in tow!

FIGHTING COLOURS
Fighting Colours are a modern rock band formed and based in Brighton. The band’s sound incorporates a number of stylistic elements from subgenres such as hard rock, alt rock and math rock, in a similar vein to Biffy Clyro, Marmozets & Arcane Roots. Listeners can expect rollercoaster ride-esque songs, fusing catchy choruses & filthy riffs, and gig-goers are treated to energetic, sweaty & magical live shows.

Making their debut in March 2020, Fighting Colours have since gone on to release three standalone singles and an EP. Two of those singles have received airplay on BBC Introducing The South, and the band have previously taken on support slots with bands such as Amongst Liars, Yur Mum, Hawxx and Interlaker, as well as an appearance last year at an unofficial Alternative Escape event.

Having been away for a few months recording new music, Fighting Colours are now back to celebrate their fifth anniversary as a band. Get ready for an explosive set filled with songs old & new…

SMOKE FILLED ROOM
Smoke Filled Room are a three-piece Ambient Rock band from Brighton. The band draw inspiration from a range of artists including Ethel Cain, Sleep Token, Daughter and Biffy Clyro. Lead singer Anna’s haunting and ethereal voice provides moments of calming ambience juxtaposed with big choruses, driving riffs and high-octane grooves.

Confronting uncomfortable topics beyond mainstream heartbreak, Smoke Filled Room seamlessly blend genres challenging the foundations of ambient rock to bring a vast expressive sound to fill any venue in the UK rock scene.

CLAYTREE
Fronted by a 'punky Chappell Roan', CLAYTREE’s ‘vintage rock’ sound combines electric energy with catchy hooks, powerful vocal melodies and soaring guitar riffs, earning praise from Melita Dennett (BBC Introducing) for their ‘danceable pop, punky sensibility, strong tunes and good vibes all round!’. The Brighton-based rockers have drawn comparisons to Paramore, Blondie, Garbage and Heart, garnering airplay on BBC Introducing and Planet Rock with their second single, ‘Why So Serious?’.

PARTY IN THE VALLEY
With an ever-mutating brand of distorted hypnotic rock blended with haunting sensual melodies, Party In The Valley use any means necessary to bring an infectious energy to an audience.

Inspired by the rhythms and groove of Massive Attack, the delicate yet powerful vocals of Portishead, and the ethereal harmonies of Jefferson Airplane, this soundscape weaves together layers of atmospheric textures and evocative lyricism. The fusion creates a captivating blend of trip-hop and psychedelic rock, inviting listeners on a mesmerising auditory journey.
