Born and raised in Rural St Andrew, GYPTIANS roots in his families Sugar Stone Soundsystem led his musical ambitions to Reggaes epicentre, Kingston Jamaica working with the legendary EARL "CHINNA" SMITH. Making his Debut at STING Jamaica's premier Dancehall event alongside serval of the nations biggest festivals Gyptian launched his career with the international smash "Serious Times" with his heartfelt vocals and lyrics detailing the Jamaican Islands worsening crime earning him Best new artist at the prestigious Reggae and World Music awards.
