Charity Football Match in Collaboration with Mind

NUSM Events is proud to announce its debut event in support of Washington Mind! 

On the 6th April 2023, Northern Area Playing Fields will welcome a diverse range of varying ability football players who are all ready to compete in aid of Washington Mind Charity. The football match will take the usual 90 minute format (2 x 45 minute halves), with roll-on-roll-off subs. 

Mind is a mental health charity in England and Wales, that aims to provide advice and support to empower anyone who may be experiencing mental health problems. All money raised at the event will be donated to the charity and used to provide emotional support for anyone who finds themselves suffering mentally. 

Gates open at 5pm, with kick-off scheduled for 6:30, however we recommend arriving as early as possible to avoid any queues. This time can also be used to socialise and learn a bit more about Washington Mind, as charity workers will be present at the event to answer any questions and provide further insight on the charity and its goals. 

The bar at the facility will open at 5pm and close at 9pm (Roughly an hour after the conclusion of the match).
