One woman reflects upon turbulent events in the country’s political life and traumatic events in her own personal life. It is 5 November again, it comes round every year to remind her of her loss. Set in 1612, seven years after the Gunpowder Plot, Guy Fawkes’ mother reveals a world where a country is divided, Europe is both a threat and a hope and the future is uncertain.
The play had just started a successful tour when the pandemic struck. These are the first perfomances since lockdown.
