Against by Christopher Shinn
Director: Hanna Berrigan
Design: Cecilia Trono
Venue: The Clore Theatre, The Unicorn Theatre
Luke is a Silicon Valley billionaire who wants to save the world: not through science or Artificial Intelligence, but by listening: first to God, and then to people. He traverses the United States, digging up cases of violence and division. The parents of a school shooter; the victims of sexual violence on a college campus, the boss of a brutal global distribution company. As Luke encounters a vivid array of American characters and communities, we ask ourselves: is he the solution, or part of the problem?
