Local Nocturna (or Loc-Noc) is a new experimental club night and arts platform in Norwich, taking place seasonally and offering a space for DJs in East Anglia to play and explore new territories in their sound. 

Loc-Noc will champion b-sides and genre-bending selections, tracks buried deep in the crates of local artists. It's a time for meditative and rolling sets that conjure imaginary worlds and new cerebral connections, a time for raving epiphanies and somatic union. 

Expect chuggers, polyrhythms, dub-techno and a healthy dose of deep house euphoria; curated by some of Norwich's finest selectors. We pay homage to UK sound system cultures, European techno and dub-infused dance music, and pave ahead to a new local sound for local dancers. 

We aim for an inclusive and liberated space for all genders, ethnicities and sexualities. If anyone's showing disrespect point them out to a member of staff. Loc-Noc has a zero tolerance policy for sexual and/or physical harassment or violence.

Our resident DJ will kick off proceedings with a down-tempo and ambient warm up. 

Tadi the Great 

Norwich-based Tadi has been killing the circuit with sold out shows at Gonzos, and the inimitable Astral Projections club night. Tadi's 'no-bounds' set will explore the more experimental rhythms in their collection. 

Adjacent Geezer 

Next up, Adjacent Geezer will sift through an exquisite bag of esoteric dance heat - not be missed. 

The Mariner of Danu 

The captain of the Loc-Noc voyage this evening, our deep and rolling excursion will be capped by an hour-and-a-half of iconic and obscure rhythms, perfect to get lost in.
