Young Enterprise is the UK’s leading enterprise and financial education charity. For over 50 years we’ve worked with young people to empower them to develop the knowledge and skills they need to succeed in work and life. We deliver a range of hands on enterprise programmes for 4-25 year olds, from one day master classes to year long projects.

On 2 July we are hosting a red carpet awards to celebrate the best and brightest young business talent in the UK.

Hosted by Steph McGovern, business presenter for BBC Breakfast, this star-studded event will see guest celebrities and entrepreneurs taking to the stage to share their personal perspectives on building a business.

In the last year, over 2,000 student teams from across the UK, Channel Islands and Gibraltar have run real businesses as part of Young Enterprise's Company Programme [link to company programme pages on www.young-enterprise.org.uk]. This programme enables young people to develop the knowledge, skills and attitudes they need for the world of work, from communication and creativity to team working, problem solving and resilience.

14 teams made it to the final [link to finalists page]. And the overall UK winner will be announced on the night.

Young Enterprise empowers young people to realise their potential and see the world of work as a land of possibility, to discover skills they didn't think they had and achieve what they thought was impossible.

At the finals we will celebrate and support these inspirational young people and see which team is awarded Young Enterprise UK Company of the Year.

Who will be there?

In the audience will be leading influencers in the start-up and business communities, Young Enterprise supporters from education and government and some special celebrity guests to present the awards.
