Girls Get Creative : Poetry workshop

✨All women poetry workshop, run by the girls for the girls ✨

Whether you've been writing poetry for years or you just like the idea of giving it a go this workshop is for you!
This is the perfect space to learn new skill and embrace your creativity in an uplifting supportive environment of like minded women.
This workshop is not only to cultivate creativity but to also connect with one another through it.


We are blessed to be collaborating with an amazing local female poet Ayan Mahamud! ( @sugarb0n / @agempresents). She will be running this work shop , inspiring us with her poetry while using her years of expertise and real world experience in the poetry scene to unlock our full poetic potential !


The workshop will compose of ice breakers, writing tips and exercises aswell as some writing prompt activities. These are all beginner friendly.
Do not come to the workshop with anxiety of perfection in this day and age nothing is more valuable than imperfect human expression.
This workshop is to connect to your creativity and connect with one another through poetry.


This poetry workshop will flow into a all women's poetry open mic. You do not have to attend this but we would love if you would. You do not have to perform ( only if you really want to 🥰) just coming to support other local female poets would be amazing. Lets support community and creativity together 💖

Important Ticket Policy:

For the safety of our community the exact location of the event venue is only released in our girls get creative WhatsApp community chat. Please get in touch with us if you are not a part of this community. ( must be a woman 18+).

No Refunds: Due to us being a non profit CIC all ticket price goes into material and equipment for the event.

Ticket Exchanges: If you can no longer make it, you can safely resell or exchange your ticket via the official ticket resell chat inside our WhatsApp community.
