NIM-CON 3 - the ultimate Doctor Who Christmas Party with KATY MANNING!

After the year we've all had, we reckon it's time to let our hair down and have a party. Every year, the Manchester Vworp Doctor Who fan group meets up on the last Saturday before Christmas for an afternoon and evening of larks, games and fun. And this year we'd like to invite YOU (yes you) to join us for an event that's 90% party and 10% convention.

Our special Auntie Christmas for the day is Doctor Who legend KATY MANNING. Katy's going to be joining in the fun and games as Iris Wildthyme herself. She'll even have a grotto and everything for signing and meeting Auntie Christmas on the day.  Our MC for the day is the great JOHN COOPER, so expect themed games, improv, bingo, a magic show from KIT TARPEY and RICHMOND, infamous Christmas tapes screenings, archive oddities, cake, dramatic readings, a Target book choir, a very silly quiz and dancing. You'll all get a goody bag too with all manner of CUTAWAY COMICS and VWORP VWORP goodies, that's a promise.

Your venue du jour is the Brition's Protection upstairs, a classic Manchester pub packed with lovely ales and roaring fires. It's been our post-Lass O'Gowrie home since 2014 and it's where we meet every month to drink, chat, laugh and occasionally talk Doctor Who. 

£1 of each ticket sold goes to Blood Cancer UK. Those of you who know Manchester will recognise the tireless charity collector who's been saying hello to us across the years from the Lass O'Gowrie onwards, so this is our little thank you to her.

The Vworp fan meet is on the last Saturday of every month and is always a lot of silly fun.
