If you haven’t heard of Deadbeat by now, you probably haven’t been paying much attention to the Juno Bass charts. Originally from Sheffield but now residing in Brighton, Deadbeat has been making his mark with numerous weighty releases on Tumble Audio, Project All Out, Chip Butty and R8 Records. Every track he’s produced has been pure bass gold. His forthcoming collaboration with Conducta and Hadean is an example of how far his production has really come. His latest release, ‘Good 2 Me’, has been banged out on RinseFM and 1Xtra countless times. Support has been from the likes of Flava D, Moony, My Nu Leng and Royal-T, and all for good reason. Deadbeat is able to flawlessly mix genres spanning from garage to bass with ease, leaving his crowds always wanting more.
