This week is the "Stay active" part of our 5 ways to wellbeing programme and we are inviting you to join us for a sensory wellbeing walk to the Botanical Gardens. This is an excellent opportunity to break away from the sedentary lifestyle and explore the natural wonders hidden away in our well known Singleton park. We will pay special attention to the surroundings and connect with our sensory experiences which is a well-studied relaxation technique.
Give yourself a well-deserved break from studying and boost your wellbeing with Connect!
Wednesday 22nd November
Meeting point: Discovery space, Fulton House, Singleton Campus at 2pm.
This event is a part of the ConnectGroups 5 ways to wellbeing programme which runs weekly events aimed to boost mental health and wellbeing amongst the student community. In order to achieve that, it strives to reduce the isolation and loneliness through giving students the opportunity to engage in activities related to the 5 ways to wellbeing.
