Waves presents: Ripples

A special one-off event from the team behind Sunderland’s Waves Festival.

This November, we’re keeping the spirit of Waves alive with Ripples — a three-stage showcase of exciting new music taking over Independent and Space Bar in Sunderland. Expect a vibrant mix of established and emerging artists from across the UK, alongside incredible homegrown talent from right here in the North East.

The first wave line-up features Brighton’s electrifying punk trio SNAYX, high-energy psych inspired Ellis·D, and powerhouse alt-rockers Jools, alongside Critch, Distant Listening, Galaxians, Leazes, Lottie Willis, Marketplace, Patrick Gosling, The Empire Police, and Wool — with even more still to be announced.

Ripples celebrates discovery, connection, and the best new sounds around. Whether you’re a Waves regular or joining us for the first time, this intimate off-year event is the perfect way to dive into Sunderland’s thriving live music scene.
