Doctor Who THE STAR BEAST free Manchester screening party!

The Vworp! Manchester Doctor Who fan group are having a FREE party at the Briton's Protection on the 25th to celebrate the 60th anniversary of 'Doctor Who' and you're all invited! 

Here's what you can expect..

"There will be the usual party things like food and booze (if you choose) and as it's in a pub there will be a pub quiz (a stupid one with unfair questions and maybe an interpretive dance round). Because we are all sensible grown ups we might even play pass the parcel. There will be entertainment from Professor Tarpey's Travelling Puppet Theatre presenting what will, I'm sure, be the single greatest Doctor Who based puppet show you will see this year.  And there will be a viewing of 'Doctor Who and the Star Beast' because how could there not be?

It's up the stairs at the The Britons Protection in Manchester (a hop, skip, and a jump from the Central Library) and you are all invited. If you want to bring some surplus tat from around the house to offer as a prize you would be considered a hero. If you were able to contribute something to the buffet then that would be gorgeous of you. But the main thing is that you come and have fun. 

Join in. Make friends. Laugh. Do all the good stuff. It kicks off at 3 PM (or 15.00, depending on which clock we use) and runs until late. The Vworp! Doctor Who fan group is a relaxed meeting for Doctor Who fans held on the last Saturday of every month in onen of the snugs of the Briton's Protection, a wonderful traditional pub at the heart of the City Centre. If you've ever been to Vworp this is a great time to return to the fold. If you haven't, why not break your duck? You're welcome to join us and there is a chair with your name on it."
