Rhythm Section presents: Remi, Iyamah, Cosima, Roxanne Tataei

This August we return to The Jazz Cafe with FOUR amazing artists who've been catching our eye, getting their hooks into our ears and stirring things up the R&B world.

Remi. ➫ A partnership between one of the best Australian rappers about Remi Kolawale and producer Sensible J. Strongly affiliated with the likes of Jordan Rakei, Sampa The Great and Black Milk, REMI combines a unique lyrical flow with melodies ranging from 90's hip hop beats to more contemporary styles. Sitting somewhere between Danny Brown and Kid Cudi, we can't wait to host REMI in the Camden institution.

Cosima ➫ Having broken out of her jazz roots and into the noir-pop spectrum, Cosima maintains elements of her musical upbringing offering the best of both worlds in a dynamic and moving sound reinforced by conscious lyricism.

Roxanne Tataei ➫ A musician who forged her own blend of psychedelia and soul with her latest album 'Full Moon In Aries' and is known for the magic of her live performances. Think Minnie Ripperton meets Portishead! Roxanne's been on our radar for a minute so with recent singles 'Crimson Eyes' and 'Perfect Fit' (featuring Shabaka Hutchings) on repeat at RS HQ and a dazzling sold out show last month (at the Royal Albert Hall no less!) it was definitely time to invite Roxanne for a Jazz Caf link up.

Iyamah ➫ A rising star hailing from Brighton, Iyamah has been turning heads and generating plays with a fresh and powerful vocal style - imagine IAMDDB with the attitude of Lauryn Hill behind a modern neo-soul backing...

Hosted by presenter, conductor, arranger, musician, fine artist extraordinaire and long time collaborator: Hannah Catherine Jones. Best known for her Opera Show on NTS, conducting her own community orchestra PCO and hosting a variety of shows on Radio 3.

Door from 7PM - see you there!
