Swansea University’s Performing Arts Societies proudly present their 2019 production, Legally Blonde The Musical.

Delta Nu Sorority President and admirer of all things pink, Elle Woods decides she must follow her one true love Warner Huntington III to Harvard Law School to prove to him that she’s worthy of being taken seriously. When Elle discovers she actually has a talent for her new-found subject, she decides to use her smarts for the greater good and prove that pink can prevail!

Will Elle ever win Warner back? Will she impress Professor Callaghan enough to get that dream internship? Can she prove that she’s serious in cerise?

Based on the 2001 novel by Amanda Brown, Legally Blonde was soon-after adapted into the 2001 hit film starring Reece Witherspoon. It then made its way to Broadway in 2007 as Legally Blonde The Musical, smashing critic and commercial reviews, picking up the Olivier Award for Best New Musical in 2011 on the way.

This sassy and empowering play is full of fun, hilarity and feel-good vibes, with mild themes of adult humour and language. Parental discretion advised with a recommended age 16+ viewing.
