The NE Street Band

We are delighted to welcome to The Independent & performing here for the first time ‘The NE Street Band’

This 6 piece band hailing from the across North East, perform the music of Bruce Springsteen & the E-Street Band

The band, who are now in their 8th year, continue to grow & perform regularly across the North East, Yorkshire & beyond to glowing reviews & an ever growing fan base

Performing for well over 2 hours & in true Springsteen style, the band mix their setlist up to include the classics like Born to Run, Hungry Heart, Born in the USA & Dancing in the Dark but also regularly dip into all genres of Springsteen’s back catalogue, including fan favourites, iconic covers & reworked acoustic versions.

The band also include several tracks from ‘The Seeger Sessions’ concerts too, which have become a bit of a trademark & offers something different & a must for any Bruce fan.

With an energetic stage show, audience engagement, great musicianship & wonderful harmonies we can’t wait to welcome the band here on Sat 28th November

On show days, ticket holders can enjoy 20% off food and drinks at local business’ Koji, Mexico 70, and The Ship Isis. We recommend booking the restaurants on weekends.

Flat level parking is available directly opposite the venue, free after 3pm on weekdays and after 6pm on Saturdays & Sundays. Sunderland train station is just a two-minute walk and the bus interchange is a five-minute walk.
