Fancy getting creative in good company?

Lucky Duck: Craft Social is a relaxed, beginner-friendly creative hangout where you can bring your own project, try something new, or simply come along and see what happens!

Think creative coworking, but with lovely people, crafty bits and absolutely no pressure to be good at anything.

🎨 What can I bring?

Got a project you've been meaning to work on? Bring it along! Whether you're knitting, crocheting, drawing, painting, journaling, making jewellery, embroidering or working on something completely different, you're welcome to spend the afternoon doing your own thing alongside other creative people.

Don't have a project on the go? No worries! I'll have a selection of basic art and craft supplies available to use, so you can have a little experiment without needing to bring anything yourself.

Supplies will be limited, so please bring any specific materials or tools you'll need for your own project.

💛 Come as you are

You can come alone or bring a mate. There's always room to meet new people, too!

The activities give us something to do with our hands, so there's no pressure to make awkward small talk. Have a chat, share what you're working on, or happily get stuck into your own little creative bubble. It's entirely up to you.

Whether you're a seasoned crafter, a curious beginner, a student looking for a creative break, or just fancy getting out of the house for a couple of hours, you're welcome here.

🪙 Pay what you can

Lucky Duck is all about making creativity and connection accessible to everyone, so I've introduced a few ticket options to suit different budgets.

🐣 The Lucky Duckling: £4
🎨 The Happy Quacker: £7
🐔 The Motherclucker: £10

Choose whichever ticket works for you. Every ticket gets you the same afternoon of creativity, connection and quacking good company!

🥤 Drinks

Drinks are welcome during the social but aren't provided. Feel free to bring your own! There is no bar on site, though drinking water is available.

📍 Finding us

The social takes place in the classroom area at GRIT Studios, Great Northern, Manchester.

The entrance can be a little tricky to find, so don't worry if you're not immediately sure where to go! Full arrival information and directions can be found on Instagram @LuckyDuckSocial or sent directly upon request.

If you have any access requirements or anything that would make the social more comfortable for you, please get in touch beforehand and I'll do my best to accommodate you.
