PRD
Four-piece alternative rock from Durham, England. Heavy political lyrics. Heavy guitar riffs. Heavy bass grooves. Heavy drums. Formed in 2019 from the ashes of other projects, years of songwriting took place. Robbie, Joe and Alex were joined by Harley in 2022 and the following year saw their debut release. Renew Hostilities was unleashed in May 2023. The single was named Spark Radio’s track of the week. It was followed by an EP release - Parasites - in October. This features the aforementioned single, Double Standard and Floss. A diverse set of tracks earned the band comparisons to acts such as Limp Bizkit, Biffy Clyro, Faith No More and System of a Down. Having supported bands from far and wide since their inception, July 21st marks PRD’s return to Little Buildings and their first headline show. Expect contemporary, relevant and political lyrics coupled with heavy guitar riffs, bass grooves and rolling drum fills.
Cabróns
Cabróns are a 4 strong set of funky boys from the mean streets; forged together through the end times (lockdown/Covie). They formed after all of the other bands each member was already in, separately - suffered a series of horrific, cataclysmic freak-accidents where every other member of that band died (leaving each special troubadour to pick up the pieces & make their own way)! Meeting at a seniors brunch, coincidentally attended by a grandparent of each member - these fellas quickly realised they had a whole lot in common; in musical tastes, passion, immediate locale, and total lack of talent or experience. They quickly chucked a few cheap bangers together, & haven’t looked back since. Legend says they’ve only ever performed live on front of each other & that that’s the way it’s gonna stay, rumours suggest, frankly my dear, none of them give a damn; & the big myth of their sound, is that there isn’t one. See what you think, when they absolutely do not play a town near you, probably no time soon.
