TALES + The Hope The Fear live at The Lost Wanderer, Newcastle

Sunderland/ Newcastle-based indie rock band TALES met whilst studying at Newcastle University have performed across the north east and been played on national radio and are now bringing their soaring indie anthems to The Lost Wanderer with support from The Hope The Fear who are touching down in Newcastle as part of their UK tour celebrating the release of their 'Die Northern' EP! The Hope The Fear is the DIY alt/ indie-rock project of Leeds-based multi-instrumentalist Alex Fletcher. Blending heartland rock with modern indie energy, his debut EP 'Die Northern' explores the resilience and pride of growing up working-class in the North of England. With soaring hooks, shimmering Americana textures, and cinematic production, Fletcher creates songs that are both personal and anthemic; music made for anyone who’s had to fight for their future and hold fast to hope.

They'll be supported by incredible singer and songwriter Aley V who writes hook-laden pop songs and shares emotive stories through poetic lyricism.
