£2 of your ticket price is allocated to the bingo game, if you wish to not play the bingo games please contact us directly for more information.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS 

These terms apply to anyone attending or taking part in Play Bingo at Komedia Bath. Nothing here affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

Tickets

A standard ticket is £12/£8, split into two parts: £10/£6 covers your entry to the venue and the wider entertainment on the night; £2 is your bingo stake, and 100% of that stake pool is returned to players as prizes — Komedia doesn't keep any of it.

Playing bingo is optional. You're welcome at the event on the strength of the £6 admission alone, whether or not you choose to add the £2 games stake, and choosing not to play doesn't affect your access to anything else on the night.

We don't offer credit, so full payment is required before you play. Prices are set out on our website and may change between events, particularly around guest appearances.

If you'd rather attend without the bingo built into your ticket at all, contact us at least two weeks ahead and we'll sort an alternative.

Age Verification

Play Bingo is an 18+ activity. We may ask for photo ID at any point, and anyone who's under 18 or can't confirm their age won't be able to play — no refund or prize will be given in that case.

Getting In

Doors close for new entries 30 minutes before the first game — check your ticket for the exact time. Turning up after that isn't guaranteed entry.

PLAYing

We'll announce what's up for grabs before each game starts. You need to call "Bingo" and get to the stage promptly to claim it — if you're too slow, you may lose your claim.

If two people call at once, or the result is otherwise unclear, we'll settle it with a quick tie-breaker on the night — usually a simple question or challenge between the tied players.

Prizes

Winners need to collect their prize before leaving the venue that night — we can't take responsibility for anything left behind or reported missing afterwards. Prizes can't be swapped for cash or passed on to someone else.

House Rules

Don't climb on furniture — our team will remind you of this on the night, and venue security will step in if needed. Anyone who does so takes on that risk themselves.

You're responsible for:

• Getting your name, contact details, date, and venue right when you book

• Turning up on time — we'll do our best for latecomers, but can't promise entry or a refund 

• Following the venue's rules while you're with us

Photography

We may take photos and video during the event and use them across our marketing, socials, and website.

Prize Draws

Any separate competitions or giveaways we run are for over-18s only, with winners picked at random and contacted directly (and sometimes announced on social media). If we can't reach a winner within a reasonable time, we'll pick another. We're not liable for loss or injury linked to claiming a prize, except where that's down to something we did wrong.
