Sunderland Freshers Week returns for 2026, a collaboration between the cities two nightclubs, bringing you 5 big nights out to kick start your university experience.

Girly-Pop Welcome Disco
@ Independent, 11pm

All the biggest girly-pop hits all night, along with ‘meet your mates’ games, name tags, free drinks, prizes & more.

Feral freshers special, main room bangers all night, share the house performed live, kitchen disco, expect absolute chaos.

Wristbands are on sale now from independentsunderland.com and are the cheapest way to access tickets for freshers events, £15 for five nights out. You can collect your wristband on the door from any of the events, ie if you're out on Sunday, you'll pick your wristband up on Sunday night on your way into the club.
