Shamanic Trance Dance

Shamanic Trance Dance is an ancient ritual practiced using a blindfold, shaking and fire breath. These elements induce an altered state of consciousness that takes us through a powerful and deep voyage into the inner realms. It is an embodied shamanic journey held in a sacred space and guided through tribal rhythms, drum beats and other medicine music.

During this shamanic practice of embodiment and visioning we drop from the mind, into the heart and body, the mind activity drops its vibrational frequency and we move into an altered state of consciousness where the concepts of time and space disappear. This is where we get in touch with the realms of intuitive wisdom and creative power and potential. The heart and third eye vision lead the way, we surrender to the wisdom of the body and allow for the healing to happen, for the veils to become thinner and for a portal to open so our visions can come alive.

Why blindfolded? Removing our Eye Vision helps the stories and worries of how we are supposed to be and behave to drop, it gives way for other senses to become heightened and for our Third Eye Vision to awaken.

The journey is guided and held in safety and sacred space, so you can surrender and let go, resting in the knowing that you are free to let the music and body take you on your journey of self-discovery.

There will be an opening circle and a gentle warm up leading us up into the dance and at the end, there will be a long period of relaxation and integration. 

Blindfolds are provided.

Bring a pillow, yoga, mat, blanket and water bottle. 

Doors open at 6:45 and close at 7

No late comers are allowed as it's very important to keep a container for this journey.
