On the back of the much talked about Northern Powerhouse initiative, Insight are proud to announce we are partnering with Tech North and a number of key players in the North's digital industry to discuss the challenges of the UK's fastest growing sector.

The next event is in Manchester on 23rd March, a stones throw from Insight HQ, where we will be tackling the theme of Attracting & Retaining the Best Digital Talent in the North.

About the Event 

At Insight IT, we fully understand how rapidly the technology scene is growing in the North of England. Recent reports have shown that jobs in Northern tech are increasing 10 times faster than jobs in non-digital sectors, and with a number of major players such as BBC, Sainsbury’s, Bet365, all moving their digital operations to Manchester the challenge of attracting and retaining the best talent has never been stronger.

The good news is that if you can attract and retain the right staff, the benefits to your business growth can be massive with the same report suggesting that productivity of digital workers is 53 percent higher than the productivity of non-digital workers.

Manchester has become a world-class digital hub and while improvements to the talent pipeline, infrastructure, finance and culture are all being addressed by industry and the government. We believe that better collaboration is another essential factor for unlocking the full potential of the Northern tech sector.

With that in mind we are opening up a discussion and opportunity to network with companies and digital talent alike to discuss how they have embraced the challenges of the 'digitalisation' of the North and share their success and insights on attracting and retaining the best digital talent.
