Feeling Gloomy - June 2025: New Order & Electro Special

We all know you love a bit of electro at Gloom so we thought we'd treat you a bit of an electro special this month and with New Order's classic Low-Life album turning 40 a couple of weeks ago, we thought we'd use that as an excuse to add an extra dash of their gloomiest hits to the mix too. Hence our imaginatively titled 'New Order and Electro Special' moniker.

Naturally with it being New Order and electro and synth we're going to be playing New Order, Pet Shop Boys, Depeche Mode, Human League, Eurythmics, Yazoo, Erasure, Kraftwerk, OMD, Soft Cell, Bronksi Beat and more

We won't be neglecting the usual Gloomy sad songs playlist though so you can still expect some tunes from the likes of David Bowie, The Smiths, Pulp The Clash, Blur, The Cure, Nick Cave, Suede, Echo & The Bunnymen, Kate Bush, Blondie, Nirvana, Manic Street Preachers, Joy Division, etc, etc!

Feeling Gloomy has appeared at numerous festivals during it's 19 years including Glastonbury, Standon Calling, Reading, Isle of Wight, Latitude, Green Man and more.
