“Know your own happiness.” Austen’s tale of restraint versus abandon—where emotions are tightly corked, feelings occasionally spill over, and heartbreak lingers like a very genteel hangover.
At the start an audience member is given the bell and they have the power - The cast must drink any time they ring it and will keep doing so until they’ve reached the end of the performance. The show is both a retelling and an improvised meta commentary on the story.
This is a longform comedy show with live music and the odd song thrown in for good measure.
