Otala
Following the 2025 release of their EP ‘Fire! To The River’, Otala will reveal the culmination of a year’s development and transition on the 22nd April 2026 - “Better Than The End”.
A band often defined by their rejection of genre limitations, Better Than The End acts as a fresh and unique branch on the ever expanding tree of Otala’s musicality, tumbling from syrupy harmonies into deep, swelling post-rock crescendos with grace. From the immediacy of the opening track, A Chase, to the sprawling odyssey of the two part Lord Only Knows, Better Than The End refuses to pull a punch.
Otala consists of Oscar Thorpe (Guitar, Vocals), Rory Allen (Bass Guitar), Charlotte Foulkes (Saxophone), and Jacob Wing (Drums). Better Than The End was recorded with Louis Milburn (Folly Group, Do Nothing, Divorce) at Premises Studios, London in January 2026.
Decent Wrestlers
They are Decent Wrestlers. The glorious collision of chaos and charm you didn't know you needed. Formed by two veterans of the Norwich indie scene - one schooled in discordant noise rock, the other thrust into bubblegum pop - the duo have thrown genre loyalties to the wind in the search of the beauty buried in the noise.
One moment, a waltz-time love letter to Animal Crossing. The next, a heart-on-sleeve breakdown drenched in feedback. Decent Wrestlers swing from shoegaze swoon to yearning indie-pop and slacker grunge sighs, stitched together with ambitious harmonies far out of their vocal ranges.
Somehow it all makes sense. Somehow it works. Never neatly, but always with feeling. Music for hopeful romantics with a ringing in their ears. For dreamers who like their nightmares loud.
