Nomadic troubadour Joe Driscoll
brings his unique fusion of folk, hip-hop, funk and poetry to the stage
for our final instalment of Red Rooster Lates for 2018’ // An innovator
of the live looping beatbox sound, Joe Driscoll
has been touring steadily for years, spreading his distinctive rhythms
and collecting industry insiders as fans in the process.

The
modern-day take on the one-man band, he uses live loops to create
soundscapes full of beatbox, guitar, harmonica, percussion, harmonica,
and just about anything else he can make use of. Driscoll has performed
his ground-breaking solo show at the famed Glastonbury Festival, Electric Picnic in Ireland, Rift Valley Festival in Kenya and hundreds of major stages all over the world.

// The Mancunian singer-songwriter has made a name for herself with her
captivating lyrics, mellifluous voice, indulgent use of harmonies and
ambient vibes which takes influence from jazz, neo-soul and R’n’B and
has been compared to that of ♥ Jill Scott ♥ and Erykah Badu. Joined by her live band Mali Hayes brings her neo-soul sentiment to our stage for an RR debut performance that’s sure to go down in the books.
